BizGossips respects the intellectual property rights of creators, publishers, businesses, and other rights holders. We expect everyone using our Platform to respect copyright and other intellectual property rights as well.
This Copyright Policy explains how copyright-related matters are handled on BizGossips, including content submitted by contributors, material published on the Platform, and requests concerning potentially infringing content.
1. Copyright Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, original content created and published by BizGossips, including articles, graphics, website designs, logos, branding, photographs, videos, layouts, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to BizGossips.
Such content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without appropriate permission.
2. User and Contributor Content
Contributors may retain ownership of original content they submit to BizGossips, subject to the rights granted to BizGossips under our Terms & Conditions.
By submitting content, contributors confirm that they have the necessary rights, permissions, or authorization to publish the material.
Contributors remain responsible for ensuring that their submissions do not infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of another person or organization.
3. Copyright Requirements for Contributors
Content submitted to BizGossips should be original or legally authorized for publication.
Contributors must not submit:
- Copied or plagiarized articles.
- Content reproduced from another website without permission.
- Copyrighted photographs, videos, graphics, or other media without appropriate rights.
- Material that falsely claims another person's work as the contributor's own.
- Content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights.
Where third-party material is legally permitted, contributors should provide appropriate attribution or comply with the applicable license or permission requirements.
4. Copyright Complaints
If you believe that content published on BizGossips infringes your copyright, you may contact us by email with sufficient information for us to review the complaint.
A copyright complaint should generally include:
- Your full name and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing material on BizGossips.
- An explanation of why you believe the material infringes your copyright.
- Evidence or information supporting your ownership or authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- A statement confirming that the information provided in the complaint is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Any other information that may help us investigate the matter.
5. Review of Copyright Complaints
Upon receiving a sufficiently detailed copyright complaint, BizGossips may review the reported material and determine the appropriate action.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- Request additional information.
- Contact the relevant contributor.
- Temporarily restrict the reported content.
- Remove or modify the reported content.
- Request proof of authorization or ownership.
- Take other appropriate action under applicable law and our policies.
Submitting a copyright complaint does not automatically guarantee removal of the reported material.
6. Counter-Notification and Disputes
If content has been restricted or removed following a copyright complaint and the contributor believes the action was taken incorrectly, the contributor may contact BizGossips with relevant information or evidence supporting their right to use the material.
BizGossips may review the information provided and determine the appropriate next steps.
Where a copyright dispute involves legal proceedings or competing claims of ownership, the parties may need to resolve the matter directly through the appropriate legal process.
7. Repeat Infringement
BizGossips may take appropriate action against accounts or contributors that repeatedly submit content that infringes the copyright or intellectual property rights of others.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- Removing infringing content.
- Restricting publishing privileges.
- Suspending an account.
- Terminating an account.
- Restricting participation in contributor or rewards programs.
8. Copyright and AI-Generated Content
Contributors are responsible for ensuring that any content they submit, including content created or assisted by artificial intelligence or other automated tools, does not infringe third-party copyright or other intellectual property rights.
The use of an AI tool does not automatically give a contributor ownership or permission to use every piece of material produced or referenced by that tool.
Contributors remain responsible for reviewing their submissions and ensuring that they have the necessary rights to publish the final content and associated media.
9. Fair Use and Other Legal Exceptions
Certain uses of copyrighted material may be permitted under applicable copyright laws, including circumstances that may qualify as fair dealing, fair use, quotation, criticism, review, reporting, education, or other legal exceptions.
Whether a particular use qualifies for an exception depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
BizGossips does not determine legal ownership or provide legal advice regarding individual copyright disputes.
10. Removal of Copyright-Infringing Content
BizGossips may remove, restrict, modify, or disable access to content that it reasonably believes may infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights.
We may also take action where required by applicable law, a valid legal request, court order, or other appropriate authority.
11. False or Misleading Copyright Claims
Copyright complaints should be made honestly and in good faith.
Submitting false, fraudulent, deliberately misleading, or abusive copyright claims may result in appropriate action.
Individuals submitting complaints are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide and should ensure that they have the authority to make the complaint.
12. Third-Party Content
BizGossips may contain links, embedded media, advertisements, or other material originating from third-party websites and services.
BizGossips does not necessarily control the copyright ownership or licensing arrangements associated with third-party material.
Rights relating to third-party content may be governed by the policies and terms of the respective third party.
13. Copyright Policy Updates
BizGossips may update this Copyright Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Platform, publishing practices, applicable laws, or copyright procedures.
